Ossie was and is a competitive and skilled midfielder and World Cup Winner with Argentina 1978. Aswell as a cult hero in England, along with Glenn Hoddle and compatriot Ricky Villa, as a player for Tottenham Hotspur in 1978 when he brought South American flair to the newly promoted Tottenham (Tottingham) Hotspur. His dream was to play at Wembley Stadium and win an FA Cup Final which he duly achieved in 1981 with a great Entertaining Tottenham Hotspur team.He also starred arguably in the best football movie ever made, the now classic, Escape To Victory in 1981.
