Getting started

Welcome to Lokkaroom.  To start engaging with your chosen clubs or athletes on Lokkaroom, simply sign up for FREE with your email address or via Google sign-in.

The first time you sign up, your Account is automatically created for you. This is where all of your tokens, collectibles and votes are stored.

To make a purchase or to receive advertised rewards from a club or athlete’s Lokkaroom, click to join their Lokkaroom. You can join as many as you like.

Where are my items stored?

All of your purchases are stored in your Account.

Your Account is automatically set up the first time you sign up to Lokkaroom or join a club or athlete’s Lokkaroom. 

If you have joined more than one club or athlete Lokkaroom, everything is stored in one place, your Account. This allows you to switch between your items and chosen clubs easily.

Navigate to My Account by clicking the icon in the top navigation, or in the menu.

What are partner (club and athlete) tokens?

Clubs and athletes on Lokkaroom have their own token currency. We call them Partner Tokens. All Partner Tokens are valued at GBP 0.20 pence.

Tokens on Lokkaroom are not cryptocurrency. They are backed by real-world currency. This means that their value does not change. One token is equal to GBP 0.20 pence, and always will be.

You can use Partner Tokens for purchases within that club or athlete's Lokkaroom. If you are making a purchase on Club A's Lokkaroom, you can use your Club A tokens. You will not be able to pay for a Club A product with Club B tokens.

When making a purchase, you can choose to pay with tokens or with GBP. The price in tokens and GBP will always be shown before purchase for you to choose the option that's best for you.

You can top up or view your token balance anytime in My Account. You can withdraw your Partner Tokens anytime too. Withdrawals are usually processed within 24 hours, but in rare cases can take up to 5 days.

Are the tokens cryptocurrency?

No. Tokens on Lokkaroom are not cryptocurrency. They are backed by real-world currency. This means that their value does not change. One token is equal to GBP 0.20 pence, and always will be.

How do I top up my tokens?

To top up your tokens, go to My Account and click the 'Top Up' button next to the name of the club.

Here, you will find a quick calculator to show you how many tokens you will receive. Once you have decided how many tokens you would like to top up by, enter your card details and click confirm. Your new token balance will automatically update and you will be able to use them immediately.

How do I create/change my username?

Click on the Profile icon in the top navigation bar. Next, click on ‘My profile details’ and then, ‘Additional Information’. Here you will be able to create or change your username.

You will not be able to change your username whilst you have a product for sale on the Marketplace. A record of past usernames will also be stored. This is to protect yourself and other fans on the platform. 

I’ve forgotten my password

That’s OK. Click on the sign-in button, and then click on ‘Forgotten password’. It will ask you to enter your email address. Follow the instructions in the email sent to reset your password.

What is a digital collectible (NFT)?

Simply put, a collectible is a unique digital item. And true to the name, collectible, they should be something that you enjoy owning, finding, collecting and trading.

They can take on many different forms, for example, trading cards (a digital version of the physical sports trading cards made popular in the 1970's), footage of special moments or exclusive content that you can own.

Digital collectibles are also known as NFTs (non-fungible tokens). Being ‘non-fungible’ means that it is unique. All collectibles have an edition number, and a limited number of editions. Every edition is exclusive because of its unique code. Once created (minted) every collectible is stored on a decentralised ledger or blockchain. Here at Lokkaroom, all collectibles are stored on the Hedera Hashgraph because it is safe, secure and carbon negative.

Unlike an image or a video you might find online, the above process makes digital collectibles unique. To put it in terms of physical art collecting: anyone can buy a Picasso print. But only one person can own the original.

Can I sell or trade my collectibles?

Yes. You can list a collectible that you own for sale on the Lokkaroom Marketplace.

Go to your Account, click on the collectible you want to sell, and you will see a 'Sell' option in the item information. After setting your asking price and confirming that you would like to list the item for sale, it will be visible to all users in the Marketplace.

We cannot guarantee a sale. You will remain the owner of the collectible until a person has selected to buy it from you.

Only collectibles (NFTs) originally bought on Lokkaroom can be sold on the Lokkaroom Marketplace.

What is the fee for selling an item?

There is a 10% sellers fee, for selling an item in the Lokkaroom Marketplace. The minimum fee is 1 token.

This fee is not taken at the time of listing the item for sale. This fee will be taken when the item is sold.

There are no buyer fees.

Can I use cryptocurrency to buy a collectible?

Not at this time. We haven't ruled out the possibility of enabling purchases with cryptocurrency and it is a topic we will continue to look at. If it is something you feel strongly about, please contact us to let us know. Your feedback is always welcome.

What blockchain does Lokkaroom use?

Lokkaroom is built on Hedera Hashgraph. It is the 3rd generation public ledger. The Hedera proof-of-stake public network, powered by Hashgraph consensus, achieves the highest-grade of security possible (ABFT), with fast transaction speeds and low bandwidth consumption. Hedera has adopted environmental sustainability as a core value and is officially committed to carbon-negative network operations.

How do I close my account?

It will be a shame to see you go, but if you do want to close your account, email us via the contact page.

How do i change my email address?

To change your email address, please contact us.

Please provide the following information in the email to us;
•    The email address that your account is currently registered with
•    Your first and last name, as they are written on your account
•    You date of birth 
•    The new email address you would like registered to your account
